Lisa’s most rewarding experience involves helping a couple who came to Metro after having been denied for a mortgage with another lender. “After speaking with them, I realized that maybe the other lender had not considered alternative mortgage options,” Lisa said. “I was able to get them approved to buy their first house using an FHA mortgage. I also noticed that they were paying a very high interest rate on their car loan and saved them money on that as well. The couple had just begun their family and wanted to have a home they could call their own. At closing, their faces couldn’t contain how happy they were! They were so excited to begin moving into their first home.”
